Martin v. Löwis <mar...@v.loewis.de> added the comment: I wonder why all these applications call PySys_SetArgv at all if they don't have any arguments to set. In the gedit case, I just removed the call from gedit, and it seems to work fine (sys.argv will be an empty list).
