Antoine Pitrou <pit...@free.fr> added the comment: Ok, I assume "-arch x86_64" is a MacOS X-specific gcc flag. The problem could be with distutils.tests.test_util:test_get_platform which borks the environment variable CFLAGS by adding this flag.
