Tim Peters <tim.pet...@gmail.com> added the comment: Mark, "extreme complexity" is relative to what's possible if you don't care about speed; e.g., if you use only bigint operations very straightforwardly, correct rounding amounts to a dozen lines of obviously correct Python code.
