Christian, The Python Community Code of Conduct also states: Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences. Showing empathy towards other community members. Various developers are passionate about this topic and the entire series of comments has been respectful, IMHO. I don't believe that it is helpful when you cherry-pick a rule from the code of conduct in response to someone providing additional evidence. That is intimidation and shutting down the conversation with an implicit threat. You specifically mentioned m68k when you opened the issue. This conversation feels very much that you and Victor have pre-determined an outcome and are not open to other points of view.
