People interested in helping Solaris issues should see my post above, msg380006. Issue #35455, about thread time on Solaris, with a simple but non-trivial patch, was just closed as fixed after reviews from 2 coredevs and a 3rd person. I presume Victor will close his proposed PR when there is a buildbot and additional action on issues.
