Éric Araujo <mer...@netwok.org> added the comment: Thanks for the report and patch, but considering that distutils is mostly frozen and on its way out of the stdlib, also that bdist_dump is not a format that’s really suitable for anything (people use sdists and wheels), I am inclined to close this.
