Yep, looks like this issue is an exact duplicate. Sorry about that. It looks like WebP is still not registered with IANA so it can't be added to the list according to this comment: https://github.com/python/cpython/blob/master/Lib/mimetypes.py#L407. It could still be added though to the common-but-not-official list of media types here: https://github.com/python/cpython/blob/master/Lib/mimetypes.py#L550. Could that happen here or would that have to happen with a new issue and pull request, or in the issue that this issue is a duplicate of?
