New submission from tuijatuulia <tuijatuu...@gmail.com>:
I installed 3.8.0 on Windows 10 without problems. Using windows user that has no admin rights - and system was asking for admin info. Then I wanted to uninstall it because I got a wrong version and 32 bit version when I wanted 64 bit, but uninstalling did nothing, although it said it was successful and asked for admin login and ended into successful -screen - although it was too quick so I figured it did nothing actually, and it did not remove anything. Only when I gave this same windows user the admin rights to the computer, I could uninstall 3.8.0. ---------- components: Windows messages: 358526 nosy: paul.moore, steve.dower, tim.golden, tuijatuulia, zach.ware priority: normal severity: normal status: open title: Uninstalling 3.8.0 fails but it says it succeeds.. type: behavior versions: Python 3.8 _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <https://bugs.python.org/issue39070> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
