New submission from paul rubin <phr-pythonb...@nightsong.com>:
It would be nice if the library reference manual had type signatures for all the stdlib functions at some point. It might be possible to extract a lot of them automatically from typeshed and semi-automatically paste them into the doc files. It might also be ok to do this gradually. I can help with this but wouldn't want to take on the entire task. ---------- assignee: docs@python components: Documentation messages: 353634 nosy: docs@python, phr priority: normal severity: normal status: open title: add type signatures to library function docs type: enhancement versions: Python 3.9 _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <https://bugs.python.org/issue38333> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
