I discussed with Pablo and it doesn't seem possible to prevent to clear a function if it is indirectly used as a callback for a weak reference to a object which doesn't implement tp_traverse properly (like the CFFI type). The best that we can do is to detect the bug in C extension and emit a warning explaining the bug and suggesting a way to fix it. ---------- _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <https://bugs.python.org/issue38006> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
