Nick Coghlan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> added the comment: Reversion patch attached - it does indeed recreate some nasty dependencies from the main areas of the standard library on to the regression test suite. That's enough to kill the idea of a complete reversion as far as I'm concerned - I'll get the proper fix done this evening.
