Louie Lu added the comment: There is a difference between Linux and Mac freeze. On linux, if freeze and I insert pdb.set_trace() at the end of the hide_window, it will let cursor blink again, while on Mac, this won't work.
I try self.widget.after(200, self.hide_window) and it doesn't work, too.
