New submission from G Young: When writing scientific notation to CSV with custom line-terminators, the behaviour is inconsistent depending on the line-terminator you use.
In the file provided, two different line-terminator result in one quoting the number as a string and the other not. IMO the second example is correct, but I don't understand why the behaviours should be any different. ---------- components: IO files: bug.py messages: 271779 nosy: G Young priority: normal severity: normal status: open title: Inconsistent CSV Writer Behaviour versions: Python 3.5 Added file: http://bugs.python.org/file43963/bug.py _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <http://bugs.python.org/issue27663> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
