Terry J. Reedy added the comment: Raymond, since you are the one who proposed making a pip-gui accessible from IDLE, you might want to comment on where and how it should be installed. Ned Deily and Nick Coughlin are dubious about putting it anywhere in the stdlib, including idlelib. One alternative is putting it on PyPI.
