SilentGhost added the comment: I closed the issue because it's outdated: i) patch no longer applies cleanly; ii) changes to cmd line parsing where done in issue 22642; iii) remaining changes are largely cosmetic.
As for issue 10896, a much more trivial patch would have to be produced against the current tip. And someone would have to test it on Windows.
