Demur Rumed added the comment: I should mention a change in dis which hasn't come up for the sake of explicit discussion: I modified dis to not print EXTENDED_ARG. Instead one can tell by the byte indices having a hole (since they uniformly count up by 2 otherwise) & the argument value being greater than 255
