Martin Panter added the comment: Antoine or Bohuslav, since you were involved in Issue 21679, would you be able to comment on fstat-failure.patch, which reverts back to ignoring most fstat() errors? The problem here is that fstat() seems to fail if the directory entry has been unlinked, and the file is on a Virtual Box shared folder filesystem.
