New submission from Antoine Pitrou: Currently cdecimal exports no C API that I know of, and it makes sure the libmpdec symbols are kept private in the .so file. It would be nice for external C code (or, in general, non-Python code) to be able to access cdecimal objects, and make operations on them, without the huge overhead of the regular C Python API.
