New submission from Éric Araujo: The OpenHatch project created this page for would-be GSoC/OPW participants: https://openhatch.org/wiki/Contributing_to_Python (it’s also useful for anyone wanting to contribute).
It contains platform-specific advice to install an IRC client and navigate using the command line, links to a Mercurial tutorial, recommends to join core-mentorship, and then defers to the devguide. Nick Coghlan and IIRC R. David Murray suggested we link to that page from the devguide. I think it makes sense, as we don’t want to include everything in it. ---------- assignee: docs@python components: Documentation keywords: easy messages: 213038 nosy: docs@python, eric.araujo priority: normal severity: normal stage: needs patch status: open title: Link to OpenHatch “getting started” page from devguide type: enhancement versions: 3rd party _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <http://bugs.python.org/issue20882> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
