Eric Snow added the comment: Good catch. I've gone through looking for other such left-overs from earlier patches that included deprecation warnings for loader.load_module(), but this is the only one I found. However, I did notice that _SpecMethods.from_module() does not get used anywhere. For now I'm going to remove it.
