Antoine Pitrou added the comment: I've committed the benchmarks after some changes: - smaller document to reduce runtimes - avoid measuring processing and serializing performance as part of the parsing benchmark - added an iterparse benchmark (iterparse can be important for e.g. XMPP implementations)
