Ned Deily added the comment: I just noticed that the changes committed earlier for this issue added a reference to the Tcl/Tk 8.6 man pages. Since there are known problems with using 8.6 with tkinter (for example, Issue16809) and we don't currently ship 8.6 with any of our binary installers, it would be better to reference the 8.5 man pages until the status of 8.6 support is resolved.
