Ezio Melotti added the comment: I think it would be better to propose this on the Python-ideas mailing list first. Adding a new module usually requires a PEP, and the module should be tested "in the wild" beforehand (i.e. it should be published on PyPI and should have a decent user base). The module you attached also doesn't respect some of the guidelines listed in the PEP 8.
