Robert Collins added the comment: BTW I'm very happy with testscenarios (on pypi) for this, modulo one small issue which is the use of __str__ by the stdlib [which isn't easily overridable - there is a separate issue on that]. I'd be delighted to have testscenarios be in the stdlib, if thats desirable.
