Ezio Melotti added the comment: I usually don't care about the author, but about the changeset. The 'name@rev' provides an easy way to distinguish chunks of code that got changed in the same commit, and usually gives you enough information to figure out who the author is. Once I identified the interesting chunk I usually click on it to see the full diff, commit message, and related issue in the tracker.
