Ned Deily <n...@acm.org> added the comment: It is still difficult to understand what problem you are seeing as others are using IDLE from the 3.2.3 installers on Windows 7. There is at least one open issue in this area on Windows: http://bugs.python.org/issue12988. Does that describe what you are seeing? If now, a few things to check: if you get to the Save dialog, try choosing another folder to save to, ilke Desktop; also, try a simple file name with ".py" at the end. If that doesn't help, please give a step-by-step procedure to reproduce the problem, including what you see on the screen.
