Antoine Pitrou <pit...@free.fr> added the comment: Well, this is basically a change in behaviour, so it could only go in the default branch (3.3). But 3.3 already has SSLContext.set_default_verify_paths(), so it's not obvious why the patch is needed.
(furthermore, automatically selecting the system-wide certificates could be surprising.
