Barry A. Warsaw <ba...@python.org> added the comment: I have to amend my suggestion about sys.flags.hash_randomization. It needs to be non-zero even if $PYTHONHASHSEED is given instead of -R. Many other flags that also have envars work the same way, e.g. -O and $PYTHONOPTIMIZE. So hash_randomization has to work the same way.
