I don’t understand this part:

  File "tarfile.py", line 1806, in gzopen
    fileobj.close()
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'close'

The code is protected by a skipUnless(ZLIB_SUPPORT), so how can the tarfile 
object be None?
