New submission from Nick Coghlan <ncogh...@gmail.com>: It would be good to supplement the "here's the list of mailing lists" (etc) section in the devguide [1] with a more task oriented communications FAQ of the form "If you are asking about topic A, then ask in forums X, Y or Z".
(where the "forums" may be any online communications channel, be it a mailing list, IRC channel, Stack Overflow, or whatever) This would also mean that communications questions could be easily answered by following the "Dev FAQ" link in the quick links on the front page of the devguide. [1] http://docs.python.org/devguide/communication.html#communication Also, that page should be updated to mention the new "Python Insiders" blog. ---------- components: None messages: 132283 nosy: ncoghlan priority: normal severity: normal status: open title: Add "communication" FAQ to devguide _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <http://bugs.python.org/issue11690> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
