340f76a6a792 just removes few lines in import.c: they can easily be rewritten. And this commit doesn't drop completly the support of OS/2 from the import machinery, as you wrote: dynload_os2.c still exists. If we drop completly the support of OS/2, it should be done completly using a PEP (I don't remember its number), and it should be discussed.
