As Anton Hartl pointed out (see http://groups.google.com/group/comp.lang.python/browse_thread/thread/37536988c8499708/aed1d725d8e84ed8?lnk=raot#aed1d725d8e84ed8) this is because both Python-2.5 and tktreectrl use a global symbol "Ellipsis".
