Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: IDLE Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: NothingCanFulfill (ncf) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Shift+Backspace exhibits odd behavior Initial Comment: On Windows, pressing Shift+Backspace while in an editor window will act just like a regular Backspace will, however under Linux (Gentoo 2006.0 and Slackware-current), instead of deleting the caracter before the cursor, it inserts "^B". Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it'd be too hard to fix this little annoyance. (I would do it myself, but I'm not at all familiar with IDLE's source layout) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=105470&aid=1482122&group_id=5470 _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
