Group: Python 2.4

Summary: floor division not documented

Initial Comment:
In chapter 2.3.4 of the Lib Reference
(2.3.4 Numeric Types -- int, float, long, complex),
the floor division operator (//) is missing.
It is only referred to in the explanation of the divmod
operator, but without explaining the meaning of //
itself. I think it would be good to make the //
operator more popular, so people can start to make
their code future proof.
