Category: Documentation Group: Python 2.3 >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Howard B. Golden (hgolden) Assigned to: Fred L. Drake, Jr. (fdrake) Summary: Acroread aborts printing PDF documentation Initial Comment: Using acroread 5.08 under Linux 2.6.5, the May 20, 2004 version of the documentation (release 2.3.4) is displayed successfully. However, when I attempt to print the documentation, acroread aborts (prints "Aborted" on standard error). (It is possible that this is an acroread bug, but I'm reporting it here in case it indicates a problem with PDF files generated by the documentation building process.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Howard B. Golden (hgolden) Date: 2005-10-03 05:49 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=4869 I tried this again using acroread 7.0.1, which is the version currently installed on my system. I have no problem. Therefore, I assume it was an acroread 5.08 problem, not a problem with the 2.3.4 documentation, and I am closing this bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Neal Norwitz (nnorwitz) Date: 2005-10-03 04:02 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=33168 Howard, do you still have this problem? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=105470&aid=963321&group_id=5470 _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
