Category: Documentation Group: Python 2.4 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Reinhold Birkenfeld (birkenfeld) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: String and list methods documentation deeply hidden Initial Comment: This is no problem for me anymore, but for beginners it can cause serious headache: The library documentation TOC does nowhere show an entry "string type" or "string methods" or so. To get there, you first have to select "Sequence Types" and then find the link at the bottom. This is not very helpful, and in fact I search a good amount of time for the first time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Raymond Hettinger (rhettinger) Date: 2005-06-14 03:47 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=80475 See Doc/lib/libstdtypes.tex 1.181 and 1.170.2.10 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=105470&aid=1215887&group_id=5470 _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
