Summary: python socketmodule dies on ^c

Initial Comment:
I'm using yum on FC4T2 to apply updates to my computer.
When I press ^c, yum does not exit, but switches mirror.

I reported this to the fedora-test-list, and the
maintainer of yum believes this problem to be inside
the python socketmodule - in the C code.

The thread is here:
 https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-test-list/2005-April/msg01372.html

Hopefully this is the right place to report the bug.

Huh? Where? Should this be closed as a duplicate?

Sorry - already reported upstream by yum maintainer.

Maybe you can persuade the yum maintainers to tell us what the problem
actually is? I don't see anything useful in that thread, and don't
particularly
want to read the yum sources to find out.
