Summary: lax error-checking in new-in-2.4 marshal stuff
Initial Comment:
I realise one of the points of the TYPE_STRINGREF and so on stuff
was efficiency, but:
>>> marshal.loads('R') # TYPE_STRINGREF == 'R'
Segmentation fault
