Category: Documentation Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Jack Jansen (jackjansen) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: "Macintosh" references in the docs need to be checked. Initial Comment: As of 2.4 Python no longer runs on MacOS9 or earlier. We need to go through all the documentation loooking for references to "macintosh", "mac", "apple", "macos" and such to check whether these references are still valid. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Brett Cannon (bcannon) Date: 2005-01-05 23:21 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=357491 Should we change the mentions to "OS X" or "darwin"? It would help remove any possible misunderstanding of OS 9 support and make sure we caught all doc mentions. Could also help specify and difference between Darwin and OS X explicitly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=105470&aid=1095802&group_id=5470 _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
