I have found the problem and a workaround http://lists.qt.nokia.com/pipermail/qt-interest/2010-May/023832.html i have any sql classes constructed above QSqlQueryModel to get more functionality that QSqlRelationalTableModel brings but i though that was the way to update the internal model, sorry.
