Hi Phil,
Oops, you are right. Just Qt-4.7.4 on Linux and therefore too old to swap...
But on MacOSX I had Qt-4.8.1 in my path while switching to PyQt 4.9.4 as
an attempt to get swap running...
Anyway...
Thanks for your quick response!
Michael
Btw... I am really enjoying PyQt

Hi,
After switching to 4.9.4 I can use 'swap' e.g. with QIcon on MacOSX:
self.__majorQIcon.swap(QtGui.QIcon(iconPath))
Before this attribute was not available on MacOSX and on Linux whereas
it works on Windows all the time.
Updating to 4.9.4 did not help on Linux.
An explanation would be nice...
Thanks in advance!
Michael
Maybe your version of Qt on Linux is too old.
