Rahul, This was a recent enhancement: Current versions of PyMOL (1.1 and later) do automatically generate symmetry-related density for maps, provided that the map covers such regions of space, and provide that symmetry operators have been defined for the molecule about which the map is being expanded (e.g. a CRYST record was present in the input PDB file).
