There are various settings which can increase the number of triangles. For
example,

set surface_quality, 1
set cartoon_sampling, 20

However, PyMOL is for the most part simply outputing the geometry it uses
internally. So if your VRML viewer can't do as nice a job with the same
geometry, then what you're seeing may be a shortcoming of the VRML viewer
rather than of PyMOL.

Cheers,
Warren

Subject: [PyMOL] .wrl Export

Hi,

I have been exporting .wrl files from PyMOL but notice a distinct lack of
quality in the files when opening in other 3D visualization programs. Are
there any ways to increase the general quality of the model for export that
I am missing?

Thanks,

Paul
