Fellow PyMOLers,

I thought I would share a quick update of changes and relevant updates with
the list about the PyMOLWiki.

(1) Massive restructuring & updating --
        http://www.pymolwiki.org/index.php/Main_Page
We have organized the pages better. Searching should be more productive &
yield more relevant results.  Many more categories have been added;
categories are a great way to surf around the wiki---just click the category
links at the bottom of the pages. Next, the wiki software has been updated.
Also, I'm happy to announce that with the addition of the captcha software,
hardly any spam/trash is getting through! Also, the GeSHi highlighting code
was updated; you can now post code in something like 50 languages and
it "does the right thing". Also, sometimes a new command or two will slip by
the attention of the PyMOL users list. Check the wiki for recent PyMOL
updates (ellipsoids, grid_mode, group, etc.).

(2) Tutorials category added --
        http://www.pymolwiki.org/index.php/Category:Tutorials
Upon realization that we have lots of information, but need more tutorials and
step-by-step recipes, we've added the Tutorials category. If you feel like
expanding on one of these, please feel free. Also, feel free to start your
own!

(3) Development category added --
        http://www.pymolwiki.org/index.php/Category:Development
If you want to learn how to develop for PyMOL, this is your place. We have
some development tutorials already written for simple and advanced scripting.
This should be a timely addition especially with the Google Summer of Code
2008 quickly approaching.

(4) Quick Site Statistics --
 * -- over 1.25 million views (now over 1,000/day)
 * -- almost 450 users
 * -- 149 commands
 * -- 104 settings

(5) As always, please let us know how we can improve the wiki to better serve
the community. Each wiki page has its own "discussion" page for comments.
Just add your comments or feel free to update the content as you see
appropriate.
