Follow up: Thanks to some quick action by the PDB support team, the old "export.cgi" function has been restored, at least for now...no word yet the future. Thus, both the Remote PDB Loader plugin and the fetch command should work:
fetch 1btu 1t46 1tna This would probably be a good time to recognize PDB staff for the tremendous service they provide in making PDB content readily available via simple http requests. It has made access to PDB content much easier for users of PyMOL and many other tools, and we should all be grateful for their continued efforts on this!
