alexandra,
i was just able to load a molecule into pymol and set its tube radius to
XYZ by doing the following:
hide everything
cartoon tube, all
show cartoon, all
set cartoon_tube_radius, XYZ
another thing which you can try if you want variable (residue-specific)
tube thicknesses which are scaled by b-factor fields is to use the
"putty" representation (try "cartoon putty, all" and then color by
spectrum on b-factors).
disclaimer is that this was all in pymol v0.98 on linux... (i don't know
about macpymol).
good luck,
cameron

Dear all,
Is there a way to adjust the cartoon tube thickness in Pymol? I have
tried using cartoon_tube_radius but it does not seem to work. I am
using MacPymol version 0.95.
Thank you very much in advance,
Alexandra
