Not exactly, but there is a workaround:

Create two objects and then color them differentially.  

If you're talking about a molecular surface, then reduce the vdw radius
slightly on one of the objects.  

set surface_quality,1
alter one-object, vdw=vdw-.09
rebuild one-object

If you're talking about a volumetric isosurface, then simply countour at a
slightly different level.
