When I ray trace with the internal renderer (default renderer), my rendered image is not kept in stereo, but instead snaps back to mono. How do I get stereo ray traced images.

Milton,

you must ray trace two separate images and write them out and assemble them in Photoshop or Canvas etc

angle=3
ray
png LEFTfig

angle=-6
ray
png RIGHTfig

If you want higher res image replace 'ray' with 'ray 1200,1600' or some other appropriate value of image width/height
remember to turn on antialiasing too.

Also, is there a way to increase the number of passes for the anti-alias smoothing function--it seems a little low for ribbons drawings compared to, say, Mike Carson's Ribbons program.

In the setting you can play around with ribbon quality. I forget the exact settings, just snoop around in the settings

Good luck
Scott
