Dear PyMol users, my subjective stereo impression with pymol in window stereo mode is too "flat", both on SGI and on Linux, at least when I compare it with my ~10 years or so experience using other applications. I started to fiddle around with the stereo parameters "stereo_angle" and "stereo_shift", but the results were not as expected from the presumed meaning for these parameters. Could anyone (maybe Warren?) please explain to me what the exact meaning of these two parameters IN PYMOL is? If I will find a subjectively better set of parameters I will post them as a suggestion on this board, then.
