I quit out of X11 and started again and it is working fine. Must have just been a little glitch.

I have an odd thing happening. I have both the MacOS X native (version 0.9) and the fink (version 0.86) versions of pymol. I've been trying to use the "duplicate" function (under the diamond icon) for the fist time. This works just fine in the OS X version, but in the fink version I get the following error:

Selector-Error: Malformed selection.
( 1G7D<--
 Selector: found 0 atoms.
 Executive: object "obj06" created.

The OS X one, when doing exactly the same thing gives:

 Executive: object "1G7D" created.
 Selector: found 1673 atoms.
 Executive: object "obj01" created.

I want to use the fink version because of the menus (there are a number of things I've never worked out how to do in the command line - like getting the mouse back into viewing mode once I've been in editing mode), but I need to be able to duplicate the molecule! Help!
